Some weeks ago, I had posted an experiment concerning my hypothesis that kata can act as a mechanism to enhance brain function. The experiment was designed by Dr. Alan Snyder of the Center For The Mind in Sydney, Australia. The protocol of Dr. Snyder’s experiment used puzzle solving to test the effects of electric stimulation on specific centers of the brain. Using Dr. Snyder’s experiment as a basis, I modified the experiment to replace the external electronic with deep, spiritual kata practice.
